Birmingham Police have officially arrested a man, followed by the allegations the Indian visitors made during the final match of the Indian-England test series. During the fifth and the final game of the India vs England series, an unfortunate incident happened. The Indian fans had to face some racist abuse from England’s supporters.
Some of the Indians took their complaint to Twitter and requested the officials to look into it. Edgbaston Officials said they will look into it and said that no such thing should happen. Birmingham police have arrested a thirty-two-year-old man and took them into their custody to be questioned. He was arrested for a “racially aggravated public order offence.”

The Birmingham Police’s official Twitter account tweeted, “A 32-year-old man has been arrested for a racially aggravated public order offence after reports of racist, abusive behavior at the test match in Birmingham on Monday. He remains in custody for questioning.”

Birmingham Police Arrests a Man with Alleged Racial Abuse During Edgbaston Test
A West Midlands Police Spokesperson told Sky Sports, “We’ve launched a criminal investigation into reports of racist, abusive behaviour at the Test match in Birmingham. We’re liaising with Edgbaston officials to understand what’s happened, and would encourage anyone who heard any racist language or gestures, or has video footage that could help, to get in touch.”
