The Asia Cup dates have officially been announced. The venues have shifted dramatically, and the host countries have also changed. Sri Lanka was the set country, but due to its ongoing financial crisis, UAE will take its place. The Asian Cricket Council announced the change in hosts.
Asia Cup will be held on 27th August till 11th September. All the games played will be between the said dates. A total of six teams will participate in the cricket events from Asia.

The Asia Cup has shifted from Sri Lanka to the United Arab Emirates. The matches will be played at Dubai International Stadium and at the iconic Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

The 15th edition of the Asia Cup will have six teams playing the shortest cricket format. Considering the upcoming T20I World Cup, the Asia Cup will be played in the T20 style. It will be the second time ever, the T20 will replace the usual ODI format.
