Pandya made a friendly gesture in-between balls when batting with Ravindra Jadeja. The following image went viral on social media, where fans of both teams appreciated the loving gesture made by both the players.

Hardik Pandya was not only praised for the loving gesture but also his performance. He gave a perfect overall performance with excellent bowling and batting. Pandya took three crucial wickets in the first innings. He dismissed Mohammad Rizwan, who made the most runs in the game, then Iftikhar Ahmed and Khushdil Shah.
Hardik Pandya was named player of the match due to his excellent performance in both departments. Pandya made 33 runs in 17 balls. India required six runs in three balls, and gave the final blow, which took the balls amongst the audience. India won the game by five wickets with two balls remaining.
