Ethan was benched for a time before he played his first ever match in the Premier League on Sunday. He broke the record of Harvey Elliot from Liverpool, who was 16 years and 30 days old. Nwaneri was earlier supposed to play for the under-18 team. The 15-year-old displayed an impressive performance leading him to a promotion to under-21.
