On Wednesday, Kangana Ranaut used Instagram stories to tell her admirers that her account had been hijacked. The actress also claimed that someone from China ‘tried to hack’ into her account.
She wrote: “Last night I got Instagram alert as someone tried to hack my account in China, the alert disappeared suddenly, and this morning all my stories about Talibanis has disappeared. My account was disabled. After calling Instagram people I could access it, but as I try to write I am getting logged out of my account again and again.”
She went on to say that she was able to publish the letter via her sister’s phone, which is also linked to her Instagram account.
“I did this article on my sister’s phone because she has my account open on her phone as well.” There is a massive multinational conspiracy at work here… “It’s unbelievable,” she said.
Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account was suspended early this year, but she has since been active on Instagram. She recently finished filming her next feature, Dhaakad. The film, directed by Razneesh Razy Ghai, stars Ranaut as Agent Agni, a police officer. Dhaakad is produced by Sohail Maklai Productions and Asylum Films and stars Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta.
The film’s creators revealed in January that it will hit theatres on October 1st.
Ranaut is also looking forward to the premiere of Thalaivi, a multilingual biographical film on former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
